Temmuz ayında Slovenya'nın başkenti Ljubljana'da gerçekleşecek ve Avrupa Birliği tarafından desteklendiği için neredeyse bedava bir gençlik zirvesi, International Youth Summit On Media.

Katılım ücreti yok, konaklama, 3 öğün yemek, aktiviteler ve eğitim materyalleri bedava. Ulaşım masrafınızın da %70'ini karşılıyorlar üstelik!!!

Dear friends,
you are invited to the 2nd European summit of youth media training 2010, that will take place in Slovenia (the only country in the world with LOVE in it’s name) on 9th - 18th July 2010.

ALMOST FREE OF CHARGE (you pay 30% of the transport only)
Good news is you can attend this event almost free of charge since the EU is financing this project almost in full:
1. Your ACCOMODATION in a new student dorm (you will share rooms with other delegates) is covered 100%
2. Your ACTIVITIES; Rafting on Soča river (one of the European pearls of nature), Visiting magnificent Skocjan caves (UNESCO protected nature reserve), Piran ancient mediteran town with rich history and famous Portorož beach we will visit, fary tale-like Lake of Bled in the Slovenian Alps (swimming included) and all the bu transports in Slovenia are covered 100%
3. Your MEALS; breakfast, lunch and dinner are covered 100%
4. Your TRAININGS & SESSIONS are covered 100%
5. Your TRAVELLING to Slovenia and back home using public transport only; flight, train, bus (no cars) is covered 70% (you contribute only 30% of your travelling costs which in the total is practically “nothing” as you see).

The 10 days PROGRAM:
1st day: Arriving, accommodation, getting to know each other with dinner
2nd day: YOUTH MEDIA and YOUTH IN MEDIA
3rd day: Visiting youth media EDITORSHIP; rafting on Soca river
4th day: Visiting MULTIMEDIA training center & high school; visiting Skocjan caves
5th day: Visiting NEWSPAPER & Magazine and printing shop; visiting Bled
6th day: Visiting TV station and internet Internet media; visiting Piran
7th day: Visiting RADIO station; visiting old part of Ljubljana
8th day: CASE STUDIES on what we have learned; climbing to Smarna mountain
9th day: PLANNING and exchanging ideas what we can do with this know-how and how can we cooperate
10th day: Wrap up & good beye
*Program is a subject to change without prior notice due to time availability of media partners who offer trainings and logistic issues.

HOW TO APPLY:
To have a great summer and to be trained to be able work in different media in your countries please reply to this Email until 29 th January 2010.
In this reply please state:
1. your motivational letter in which please explain shortly why we should choose you as a delegate to this conference
AND
2. your previous reference;
a) any kind of experience you have had with any kind of media including internet, radio, TV, newspapers, magazines,…,
b) any experience with organizing any kind of youth projects; seminars, fairs, parties,… or
c) active membership in any youth or student organizations (international or local).
AND
3. what is your life vision and plans in terms of your future contribution to the world (what is the main thing that you would like to do in your life professionally such as; you want to work as an editor of a big TV station one day, or you plan to work in advertising and marketing, maybe you want to be entrepreneur and start your own company, or you are already developing portal with friends and you hope to be the leading website for some field, or you want to work on particular field of environmental issues or human rights, etc).
